12 Stylish Festive Jumpers and How to Wear Them
With just a hint of turkey curry buffet
There’s a section of my wardrobe which I await wearing, with particularly eager anticipation, every year: my festive jumpers. Nothing rings more true of the twinkle-lights-time than a great seasonal sweater.
In recent years, nearly every high street brand—and supermarket—has hopped on the festive jumper sleigh bandwagon.
There’s ample opportunity to score a Christmassy sweater. However, there’s a line to be drawn between a truly stylish festive jumper, and a novelty nod. I am not against a playful design—love them in fact—but a truly ‘ugly Christmas jumper’ that will be discarded come December 26th seems wasteful.
One of my very first industry jobs was compiling ‘get the look’ features for Marie Claire online. Scoping the shops for the best pieces out there, is something I’ve always enjoyed. And this edit was particularly delightful to compile!
